  1. This was a really great review of the nutrition labels! It is something we see everyday, but it truly is the easiest and most important way to know what we eat.

I learned a lot of things that I didn't know and also that I never really paid attention to. Overall good health includes having both physical activity and a lifestyle that supports it. If you are worried about weight management look at the nutrition labels for the number of calories that foods contain. Fat is two times more that carbs and proteins. Vegetables current estimate is 3% and the target is 50% so that is very low. Your calories in should equal your calories out. To assess your weight you can do what is called a skin fold measurement which tells you your % body fat. If you have a BMI of greater than 25 you have an increased risk for CAD. Lastly, watch for food safety. When you are preparing food make sure you wash it, don't use the same cutting board for all foods, and cook your meat properly so it is all the way done.

  4. I Googled "l'audace" as I was curious to see the translation. I see you have the Patton quote farther down. The username certainly seems to suit you. On the title card, the words principles and management are misspelled. I found the percentages for Healthy People 2010 interesting; I wonder how the committee set its targets? What actions did the committee take; what power does it wield? I found it amusing that you chose to link advice on alcohol consumption with food safety.

  8. I think this video was very educational, knowing the labels and also knowing what's good and what's not. This would help Americans especially since we are such an obese nation. Also knowing about energy balances and balancing food groups. Also knowing about alcoholic beverages and practicing food safety. Also weight management we need full understanding about. People need to know more information about weight management, and practicing healthy. Also knowing our BMI, so that way they need to know where they sit in society. Also just dieting is not a proper way to approach it, we need to balance it out with exercise and count calorie intake and serving sizes management.
